Good question. Try asking Farage what he actually wants - UKIP [policy is pretty slim on detail.

It's a clarion call to dissafected voters - it has no real thought or analysis behind it.

On a practical level there's very little that the EU stops us doing, but there's lots of things that the EU makes us do - eg respect human rights, respect data protection, some stuff around workers rights and lorry drivers not drving themselves into oblivion, trade barriers with Europe, that sort of stuff.
