Looks like her 'cross party talks' will exclude Corbyn, one of the few people in Parliment

Who genuinely wants to leave the EU.

Ridiculous.
We've completely lost the ability to discuss, debate, and compromise because we've allowed any sensible movement from a starting position to be decried as a U Turn, or cave in, or surrender.

This whole thing required consensus and diplomacy, UK politics can no longer do either as we've decided we'd rather scream at each other from entrenched positions (myself frequently included, something I'm trying to change).

FFS she just needed to have been seen to make genuine attempts to include JC and Labour publicly, the press were so much on her side she could have easily painted him in to a corner without having to make any real concessions. Would have been impossible for them to vote against her deal if she'd made enough of a play of bringing him to No10 to discuss and plan.

The last 2 years have been a series of short sighted and stupid decisions designed to appease the ERG supporting wing of her party, who've been shown to have bugger all power. She (and her team) really are the worst executive in living memory, so so many self inflicted wounds.
