Wagner was entitled to say his piece, imho.

But the leaders at the club need to lead. If they continue to keep digging out the fans, even if caveated and if they think it’s somehow justified, we’ll just continue in an endless tit for tat, a doom loop. Fwiw, whatever we might think of DW as a manger, I would say he has shown exactly the kind of leadership I’m asking for. He’s been dignified and respectful throughout, and this week was the first time he hit back - and as I say, he was justified in doing so.

Here’s a knowledge bomb though. When you lead a big organisation, you get stick. Lots of stick from lots of quarters. Some of it fair, some of it not. If you go around lashing out at all and sundry as a result, you’re f**king up. Grow a pair, rise above it, and f**king lead. It’s your job, it goes with the territory.
