I was pretty happy with the films
Seen many books i've enjoyed utterly destroyed by hollywood, with all sense of plot and character thrown away to worship at the altar of cheap thrills and pitiful attention spans.
So when i actually enjoyed these it meant quite a lot.
Yes there are many changes, some work, some were clearly necessary for Hollywood (Arwen for example).
One or two I dissapointed with (where were the Huron? and not enough Shelob).
In general though he kept the Soul and that's what's important, not ensuring 100% accuracy.
