if it works (scum go up) Evans gets £32 million for an outlay of £18 million, and scum end up debt-free and in the Premier League. If they don't go up then Evans will presumably look for some other way to recoup his money.

I don't see how this deal would work for us - or any club in our position - poor cashflow but substantial assets.
