We have a deep squad, however I think that GS has clarity about who he is deploying and why. He's ignoring the clamour and last night's win was tactically as good as I've seen from an England side in decades.

It wasn't exciting but there was an undeniable sense of purpose and an identity which has been forged by the manager and his coaching staff.

We are not necessarily the best side in the competition and there are clear improvements that can still be made. But the direction of travel is hugely encouraging.
