they might know what it takes to get up but if they suspect that they aren't up to Prem standard (or that the club thinks they aren't) do they have the incentive to do it all again knowing they'll be dumped immediately if they succeed?
Plus if we've concluded our current style won't succeed at Prem level we need to start changing it (more pace & power hopefully) next season rather than trying to do it almost overnight upon any promotion.
