Have never really understood that last attitude

Given the obscene cost of going to games, surely you want to maximise enjoyment whilst there? Absent a few psycologically messed up individuals, who actually enjoys booing and criticising for 90 minutes? However turgid the football, its got to be more enjoyable to be singing, enjoying the banter, having a laugh etc.

If you're just going to go and sullenly watch the game and boo, isnt the money better spent on things that you'll actually get some enjoyment out of?
