So sorry to hear that do what you feel is right
My dad passed away a couple of years ago and i still think about it now. Wasn't there at the end as it was a surprise - but still glad i spoke to him the night before on the phone. Do i wish i'd been there - well to be honest was just no way to have made it in time but it was comforting that i had recently spoken to him. Do what you feel is right - and never blame yourself or beat yourself up about your decision.
