I think you’re overlooking the success we’ve had though

Whilst your discontent with the summer business is valid, I’m sure other clubs look at the deals we did to sign sainz, Sara, Nunez, and many others in less recent times with envy.

I think there should be space for signing players domestically and overseas, but I’m sure the approach the club takes is to identify the type of player they want and then decide who best meets the criteria regardless of where they are located. I doubt they are ruling players from league 1 / the championship out, they are just deciding that they think players overseas are better options.
