but probably would have been better for long term future, had we missed out on auto though would have been a disaster.

There are so many moving parts to this, it can't be boiled down to a yes/no point.
Farke is clearly a very good manager and great for us, we were also struggling when he was replaced until the last game of course!

Then there is the issue that we also got the replacement wrong, which further complicates it.

Looking back now perhaps we should have stuck, but I'd hate to think that would have resulted in an ugly end had that seasons trajectoryh continued.
