Its not about Emi specifically, its about having a player of that quality.

This Leeds squad is full of quality at this level, as were our title winnings sides.

Leeds being in a mess is why the started slow, but one of Fark's biggest strength is building a squad and getting the most of out players. One of his biggest achievements was being the manager that got Emi to perform consistently and show his potential, he is a brilliant man manager.
He got the absolute best out of that team, the way he is at Leeds now.

Doesn't change the fact we were rabbits in headlights in the prem, with no ability to change our approach to suit the new challenge.

His preferred style of play suits technical players, we couldn't give him players good enough to do that in the prem, not sure this squad has them in that way either.

Isn't this just a case of more than one thing being true? Farke was a brilliant manager for us, one of the best we've had in the champs, but was a victim of both that success and approach in the prem, where we couldn't/didn't provide him with players good enough to maintain his style.
