I guess we're only 'on plan' ...
to the extent that we never expected to have been in the Prem at all this season under the original plan.
That said, going on about how awful this season has been is in itself only one side of the coin. If we'd spent £50m and only got relegated by a single point we'd have had a less 'awful' season but be much worse off.
