is what Webber is feeding. Justifying one of the worst Premier League seasons ever seen by any team, as being all part of a long term plan.
It's great that the club is doing well off the pitch. Not that it ever was in any real danger in recent years, thanks to shrewd investment in youngsters.
But, as you said, this season has been so bad, that it's ludicrous to pretend that it is still 'on plan'.
