Labour and Tory positions have been stupidly similar

Both wanted a customs union and single market access, but neither wanted to be seen agreeing with the other

Based on their respective manifesto positions there is no clear reason for labour not to back the WA, except it is a Tory Brexit (then at least)

Johnson wont back it now* because it would be a Labour brexit.

(*I think he might if it's the only alternative to extending and he can get some labour rebels onside)
