When I used to live up in Stoke, the end of the road was a 4 way junction

so had traffic lights. One morning, going to work early (6am) there'd been a serious accident, debris everywhere, 3 cars involved. The car going straight across from my street just went even though the lights were on red, 'cos he'd "been doing it for years and never had an accident"
