I think it becomes more important.

The TV money is largely irrelevant in the Prem (bear with me here) as everyone has it, and most teams will have more from finishing higher, getting more than the minimum games etc.

So the TV money is your baseline in terms of financial competitiveness, its the start point. To get an advantage you need owners who can fund you over and above your TV income, which ours cannot do.

Without going through each club and off the top of my head I believe everyone in the prem now would have an owner or shareholder they could identify that would be capable of providing funds far in excess of what Delia & MWJ could do.

I'm not really sure what this means for them, us, or what point I'm making about them really.

I guess what I'm saying is being in the Prem doesnt make us rich as we would still be comparatively poor against established Prem sides. The only time we really 'benefit' from the TV money is on relegation with the parachute payments.
