Is it really that difficult though?

Its been pretty obvious that this team is not being coached properly or playing particularly well for a long time, even when we were top of the league.

I would have replaced him after Brighton and to be fair I agree that would have been a difficult decision to make because to the outside world you would have been sacking a manager on the back of two defeats but I just cannot believe anyone in that boardroom can sit and watch the events on the pitch in the last four or five games (and before that) and think that everything is right. Sticking with him is arguably more risky than parting ways although I accept that our board are generally "nice" people who don't like sacking managers they have forged links with.

Our job will be very attractive. Still top 6 and in striking distance of the top two. Good if imbalanced squad that I think a new manager will fancy their chances of getting going. Should be some money available in Jan and/or some players we should be able to sell in Jan to raise cash for replacements. There are arguably more good candidates potentially available at the moment than there were at the time we sacked Adams when to be honest we all knew he needed replacing but the alternatives at the time were actually quite uninspiring.
