Surely no-one is seriously of the view that "we can't go down"?

The table doesn't lie and no-one who's seen us play "bottom teams" should be in any doubt that we are worse than those "bottom teams" just now.

We *can* get out of it. But something structural needs to change. Relying on geeing up the existing squad isn't going to cut it. History is against us: mostly, teams who are where we are round about now end up going down, and there are good reasons for that.

I think it was Einstein who said that the definition of insanity is to keep on doing the same thing and expect different results.
