For the forest penalty the VAR should simply have said he thought it was a penalty and yes the ref would have gone with that at the screen after seeing it again. We’ve seen across the leagues some really poor VAR decisions and improvement is required everywhere but it will never get to major tournament standard.

Hopefully the new offside tech will be a lot quicker than what it has been in the prem
