Hopelessly naive comment, but one I haven't seen previously on here...

Is there any suggestion the tactile nature of Southern Europeans with all their hugging and kissing as a standard greeting might in some way lead to higher transference? To me that seems likely, but I've not seen it referenced anywhere.

The counter of course is that the more formal Northern Europeans ( handshakes and nods) might end up slightly - only slightly- better off.
