Night of Mr C’s heart attack

Gets first level of treatment then we’re sent back to main waiting area. We were pretty much ready to give up and go home, although I was quite enjoying the watching soap opera of two teenage girls, one of whom seemed to have period pain but made a miracle recovery when three lads came in accompanying their mugged friend. Then we were summoned back and it transpired that there was one A and E nurse handling Mr C, another heart attack, a premature labour, a domestic violence incident and the other stuff still in the waiting room. I’m not holding my breath that this government will learn its lessons though.
