true but also positives will emanate from it

for example, the NHS will be forced to rethink everything in our healthcare system. One example is how to operate A&E departments in the future as recent experience is that it is (before CV) in a ridiculous state.

We are waiting to get seen the waiting room is chock full of people most of which really are not in need of "emergency" treatment but the main aim of A&E now seems to be gatekeeper as hospital beds are blocked so they are there as holding midfielders in effect, delay the attackers until they give up and go home pretty much. Any leftovers get treated somehow. My frau got treated in a packed waiting room despite the doc saying she should be admitted (some very horrible people making comments it was deeply unpleasant for her). She couldn't be admitted though as no beds.

A Nurse comes out and calls a persons name, his relative pipes up "oh, hes just popped out for a ciggy"

Nurse reaction something like, "ah, would you let me know when he comes back please?"

Piss boiling at the time, what manner of emergency care treatment factors in for patients having cigarette breaks and makes allowances for same? and that, that was before all this.
