I have to say that generally I agree with Farkes policy of keeping faith with players who have the shirt if they have performed ok and I suppose yesterday was a unique sort of challenge in terms of how Millwall play but there were long periods in that game where I felt we didn’t have complete control of it and I was wishing we had Leitner or Vrancic on the pitch to move the hall a bit quicker in midfield.
It’s a real dilemma and it’s a nice one to have as they are all good players but does there come a point where despite the fact a player has done nothing wrong you have to just get your best eleven on the pitch regardless of whether it’s a bit unfair on a particular player?
I’m torn on this because you could argue the same applies at the back with Klose although I think the case there is a bit more borderline.
