One way of looking at it is

If the likes of vrancic leitner are on the bench then they can’t get kicked and injured for the run in.

You know teams will kick lumps out of them to gain an advantage.

Our bench is strong enough to change a game at any point when required..... bit like NFL we currently have our special team ready and waiting
