I've done keto a few times including a 10 month / 40kg / 88lb / 35% of me / lardarse to 'auschwitzy' loss.
The key question is what did I lose that weighed 40kg. To start with you lose water. Quickly. This is where your rapid weight loss stems from.
Over the longer term you will lose fat but also muscle. Very low calorie intakes result in a greater proportion of muscle loss. So slow and steady is better.
The other thing with keto is while you can lose weight eating only bacon, it's not the healthiest approach. I basically ended up eating salad all the time.
All in all would suggest not getting overexcited about rapid initial loss, eat more salad/greens and try and lift some weights. It does really work though. Hope you meet your target 😎
