1. I still think it's way too early to cast judgement or, as some already are doing, panic. No matter who the manager is, Norwich - especially a Norwich side trying to play football - will always be prone to the occasional absolute shocker. But what Farke is trying to do takes time; heck, even Klopp's Liverpool frequently looked an absolute mess in his first few months there.
This doesn't mean I don't share other posters' concerns. Of course I'm concerned! It's impossible not to be given our defence (sic). But no-one should panic unless we're still in the bottom three come November/December.
2. Farke. No folks, he didn't look a "broken man" in his post-match interview. He looked FURIOUS, and rightly so. Furious to be associated with such a pathetic performance; furious at the schoolboy mistakes of his players; furious, I agree, at this summer's recruitment.
So we'll see what happens over these critical last few days of the window - but Saturday will only have stiffened his resolve to get things right. I've no doubt about that.
3. The fundamental issue, and one many keep coming back to. What is "success" for Norwich City under these owners? What do they get out of owning the club, and point blank refusing any potential interest from anyone else? What's in it for them, other than a whole load of hassle, and ever-increasing odds?
Personally, I find it hard to care as strongly as I did a few years back. Maybe that's because I'm older, and life puts football into its proper perspective. But it's much more because under these owners, we've kept smashing into the same glass ceiling... so the endless cycle we're on all feels a little bit passe.
When we went down to the third tier in 2009, they only survived - by the skin of their teeth in financial terms - by getting in absolutely brilliant people, on the football and business side of things. If it happens again, I don't see how they survive a second time. And if they themselves are fed up with the glass ceiling I mentioned, well... it's time for them to reconsider their attitude to new owners, isn't it?
