"All it takes is 3 weeks of bad luck and you are looking at a crowd revolt" Well, that might be the case with the likes of selwyn; but I'd like to think that most fans are able to take into account such misfortunes before turning on the manager.

Of course there's a random element to it; but if you're a good manager (in it's broadest sense) and know your field and can use a little imagination then I think you'll be more successful than not
