With Ashton/Earnshaw - 05/06 - 9th
With Earnshaw (intermittantly due to injury) - 06/07 - 16th
Without Earnshaw (but with just enough from Ched) -07/08 - 17th
Without a proven goalscorer - 08/09 - relegation?

The main thing I would criticise Roeder for is not replacing Dublin, he knew about his retiring long enough to be sorting something out and prioritising that with what little cash he had. Can't see us getting in the required quality now.
