...and yes I think that a little bit of humour helps to bed in a new man. How many new teachers out there or parents managing their kids team use some humour to break the ice?

I also think that big companies encourage such things, in an age of Americanised thinking, happy clappy, health and safety obsessed and see your boss as your friend humour such as that is encouraged.

As for Lita being our saviour, personally I don't think he was that good, reminded me of Earnshaw, took 5 gilt edged chances to score once, offside 10 times to every 1 where he's be onside. Lupoli is a better player in terms of skill though is less physically imposing. You could pick a number of players who have made key contributions. Lupoli won us the game are Plymouth, then a week later single handed earned us a point at Cardiff, Marshall single handed won us a point at Barnsley. There was a team effort at Forest but Clingan Croft and Patty did most of the work. So I disagree that without Lita we'd be bottom.

As for the players not getting it? I'm not sure, to an extent I think they weren't playing for Roeder (like Huckerby for Grant) but I think players like Fozzy and Russell who aren't the best members of the squad have a passion and that's why generally they are liked.

Should get 3 points today and I for one wouldn't mind Gunny getting the job or assistant full time. He seems a very humble man and one who has been a great servant to Norwich, just need to see if he can motivate the team.
