Biased wheels

I have personally played and won against biased wheels.

There are so many ways a wheel can become biased.
Especially as a lot of the early wheels were hand made.

It mostly has nothing to do with how level the wheel is either.

Some have worn ball tracks that cause the ball to fall at the same point.

Others have warped wooden cones or puffy pockets where the glue has made the pocket spongy.

The electronic method was highlighted years ago in the book The Eudaemonic Pie by Thomas A Bass.

I know a team of guys beat some the British casinos who use the roulette live video screens.
They could actually electronically scan the speed of the wheel in one direction and the de- acceleration of the ball and predict the segment it would land in real time.

You only need to predict half the wheel to get a massive edge over the casino.
