Two reasons (1) The improvement last year from almost relegation certainties was remarkable and (2) We cannot be changing the manager every year as it is too expensive and unsettling to the squad.

On the down side though, his selection of loan players over contracted ones, the treatment of certain players, formations and tactics have left be me either amazed, confused, angry, mystified or a combination of all four of these things.
