some people opposed his arrival solely on that basis and never warmed to him as a result. Others simply judged him harshly always citing the Norwich connection. Or they simply pointed out that bringing in ex-Norwich was always a bad idea (see also: Andy Marshal)
But the 'Norwich connection' based opposition was nowhere near as strong as the noises I get from people on here. Maybe it's because his Norwich days were long in the past, whereas he was only recently at Ipswich?
