re Saudi/Afghanistan

It doesn't take a genius to work out that Afghanistan was targetted because thats where Bin Laden was based, where he had his training camps, and because the Taliban regime actively supported him.

Saudi Arabia as a state did none of these, and moreover have a pretty healthy interest in opposing AQ - Bin Laden hates the Saudi Govt as much as he does the USA.

But no, lets go with your playground logic of 'they were Saudi so why didnt we bomb Saudi? Must be something fishy!'
