So sorry to read that

terrible how we treat human beings but put animals "out of their misery" at the drop of a hat. I too was holding both my parents hands (at different times obviously) when they died and would have happily helped them go earlier to take away the pain they suffered. As you say it never leaves you.
A good day for politics....I don't think I've ever said that before.

Looking down the thread there's one bloke I'd happily drop if I ever met him face to face. And breathe....
