I have walked 45 marathons, 10 double marathons and 2 hundred mile endurance events

All with the Long Distance Walkers Association (LDWA). No route markings, so orienteering is required from a route description. Mostly on footpaths very little on paved roads. Speed isn’t a factor everyone gets the same certificate if they finish, you just have to finish and manage yourself physically and mentally to get round. However for what they are worth, my fastest times are
26 miles - 6 hours 58 minutes
52 miles - 14 hours 46 minutes
100 miles - 42 hours 38 minutes

Next marathon is the South Downs marathon in Eastbourne on the 28th
