But what I meant (and it was me that raised the competition point which you’re validly countering) is that NCFC is in a pyramid competition of hundreds of clubs. How competitive is Major League Baseball if you’re not one of the teams in the MLB? Not very….

It has pros and cons. Clearly a big pro is every team has a chance of winning. The big con is only a very few have that chance because it’s not an open competition.
