screaming into the void ....

i did not see this coming but

blindsided

I've suddenly become a carer for my 86 year old mother in-law who has severe dementia and my 89 father in law who is in the n&n with a broken hip and has had a stroke that has paralysed him down the other side so basically totally help reliant from others to exist. i visit him every day but it's awful to see him give the f**k up.

my entire day now every day is subsumed by this s**t, visiting him every day and dealing with all her s**t daily. she barricaded her door tonight with all the dining chairs and her wheelchair so it took me 5 minutes to get in to give her her shopping and meds and feed her. her screaming at me for being (in her eyes) awful and then crying and apologising is a right old head squoze

takeaway: dementia is a bit of a c**t
