Genuine question, please dont go down the political route.... stick to the issue.

If you earned a lot of money through businesses and were legally entitled to pay X amount of taxes, should you be shamed into paying more taxes than you legally have to?

From a personal point of view I have paid a LOT of taxes in my lifetime but I have also use every legal avenue and deduction I am allowed to take.

I don't understand why people should be made to feel they did something wrong when they did nothing wrong.
