the press has changed as we use it more effectively now in bursts
1) press up high to win ball back especially if we see one defender who likes to play rather than launch it.
2) press to slow the game up and force long balls this to me is a key improvement as it stops the midfield being overrun.
3) attack physically/press the player who receives a pass rather than previously just keeping close sometimes looking to intercept as well - Williams is very good at this.
We also use throws and free kicks to reset and take a breather so rather than keeping the ball with a quick free-kick there is more chat etc.
rashica/sarge/placheta are really helping with their pace not as good as emi but the constant niggling helps force errors and frustrate. We still had the first 20 mins of the second half which we struggled to contain wolves but gradually we got back into the game.
