I think there has been a definite change in approach
Hitting long into channels being one of them. We also don't persist with playing out from the back when under pressure. We do however still have the ability to play intricate passing, but we not longer do it in our half. I'd rule out improves fitness as a reason we press and win the ball back now - Farkes team were super fit.
