Outside the area
Article recently (on the Athletic?) about potential for banning outside the area.
That seems more realistic than outright ban. It'd be interesting to see how the game adapts. They mention less long goal kicks (already happening with teams playing out from the back), less long hopeful balls (good for some, bad for others), less manufactured free kicks between defender and attacker coming together in the air, less back injuries falling badly from midair collisions, etc.
