VMT, aspiring to be a permanent top 26 club would be great

but it's probably not that realistic in the medium to long term.

At the moment we're still basically riding the wave of selling Maddison, Godfrey, Lewis, Muprhys et al for £100m in the last few seasons.

But there's no guarantee that we'll continue to produce or sign these kind of assets over the next few years, particularly if half of those seasons are in the Champ and we have limited buying power. And then we risk gradually see a decline in the quality of the squad.

If we could manage to stay in the Prem for two or three consecutive seasons though, it would give us enough money to not be so reliant on player sales. Whilst also giving us the status to attract the next crop of Maddison or Godfrey type players.
