I agree Lambert played Evans whilst his stock was high. Just as he threatened to leave us
to go to Burnley at one point even though they were a league below us at the time. Reckon he forced Evans hand into that contract and with him having duped the fans (at that time) Evans felt compelled to secure him on a longer contract.
Now they are f**ked because he won't walk without a payoff (see his comments last night about never giving up) and I don't reckon Evans will have the appetite to pay him off either.
