divide and conker and all that jazz and in the meantime everyone's energies are focussed on petty bickering between themselves. the opportunity thus for a massive revolt and seismic landscape altering political upheavel is thereby neatly avoided, stasis. and you mugs (points at all of you mugs) are all very much part of the perpetuatuing this nonsensical process.
