Don't worry

I don't even begin to agree with his views. I doubt whether a single other person on this board does either. My best friend of 30 years is gay, a man I shared a flat with through university, to whom I was best man at his wedding, and who I saw live through many difficult and unpleasant experiences. I have seen at very close hand the effects of prejudice. I agree with disputing the views of others when I think they're wrong. I just think that in doing so we should act with some humility. One day your views will also in some respect come to be seen as antiquated and plainly wrong - immoral even - but simply to abuse you for that reason would fail to do you justice.
