....you infer this person has a history of doing this type of behaviour to further their own ends. I would be slightly wary that her intention is to draw you into making a grievance which would then need to be independently investigated etc. Messy. Whilst you will probably come out ok there is no guarantee in stuff like this. Better that senior managers (if they have the nerve) tell her that her behaviour is unacceptable and inappropriate and that she is making unfounded speculation. If not what about the colleagues in the restroom? Are they happy with her comments? Like others have said, there should be a proper grievance procedure eithin your organisation but I would just be a bit wary of invoking it in case that is her intention - and obviously your salary may well have to become known as a result of this action. Personally I would look to inform managers what she was doing (which presumably others will confirm) and leave them to deal with it at this stage.
