A club of our size can't appoint a big name with success behind them. At best a "proven" name will be someone with at least some track record of failure; Bruce, rosler, monk. Some better than others of course.

Really, our only chance of having a world class manager or world class players is to sign them before anyone else is willing to take that risk.
