Very pleased

As a club, we're not big enough to appoint a big name that will take us to the next level (whatever that is).

Our only real hope of something amazing is to go for an unknown quantity that no one else at a higher level would risk. Paul lambert was that kind of appointment.

The alternative is appointing people that have been around the block a few times and already proven they're nothing special.

Monk would have been solid, don't know if he'd actually have wanted to come though. In any case, hard to imagine him really achieving something magical. Which, let's be honest, is what keeps us football fans going; the hope of achieving the impossible.
