Gonna go way off tangent here, but relevant in a way

The tv was on in the rest room a couple of years back, and the victims of the Charleston church shooting were on video link, and the gunman was on the other video link so he could hear what the victims thought of him

Say there was 8 victims, 7 of them were mainly "I hate what you've done, you've destroyed my life" etc etc. Other colleagues were gripped and were nodding at the grief on show. Then the last one whilst crying went something like "what you've done is horrific, but I forgive you, and I hope God will. I love you and believe you can change and come back from this"

I pointed at the screen and went "get in, that is amazing". Mostly people around me went "but she's obviously a nutter". To which I went "if you can reach that state of mind in your life then you can overcome anything. I wish she was from York cos I'd want be around someone like that. ALSO, that shooter will have enjoyed the first 7 people saying they hate him. He's ill and gets off on that, those first people fed him on what he's hungry for. The last one will mess with him, because he'll be thinking 'I didn't do this for your forgiveness, who the f**k are you, I wish I'd killed you as well, I don't want your love, f**k off....."

I'm not saying they agreed with me, but they were like "oh, well I hadn't looked at it like that"
